About Me

Panos started his professional career as an Electronics Engineer MSc in applied fields and research. During his life he was part of teams creating technologies and products that had a deep impact on learning, communications, commerce and publications industries.

Working as R&D Manager and Technical Director he was able to contribute to a major shift in Maritime Satellite Communication Systems, adopting high bandwidth systems used for the benefit of all stakeholders.

Panos now works for the European Commission, where his academic research is evolving in the fields of AI, Deep Learning and Ethical Foundations for Augmented Intelligence — contributing to frameworks that shape responsible AI governance across EU institutions.
